Welcome to Guesthouse Santé! I am Yoshihiro Nishina, the owner.

Santé is a 60-year-old Japanese home originally maintained with care by a local grandmother. I inherited this precious space to preserve its history and breathe new life into it as an authentic vacation rental.

Living between Tokyo and Susaki, I have been deeply captivated by Susaki's rich nature, delicious local sake, and warm community. Beyond major tourist spots, you can experience genuine rural Japanese lifestyle and cultural connections here.

Q. Can we have a BBQ during our stay? Do we need prior notice or equipment?
A BBQ grill is permanently installed on site, so you can use it freely without any advance application. Please note that consumables such as charcoal, fire starters, and wire mesh are not provided, so we kindly ask you to purchase them at the nearby Kohnan hardware store (about a 10-minute drive away).
Q. What are the Check-in and Check-out times?
Check-in: From 16:00 (4:00 PM)
Check-out: By 10:00 AM
We use a self-check-in system (smart lock) for your privacy. Keylock instructions and access codes will be sent prior to your stay.
Q. How many cars can park on site?
Up to 3 standard cars/vans can park free of charge on site. Please contact us in advance if arriving with 4+ vehicles or a large minibus.
Q. Are there supermarkets or convenience stores nearby?
Yes, within a 10-minute drive you will find Marunaka Supermarket, FamilyMart, and Seven-Eleven. Very convenient for groceries and drinks.
Q. Are kitchen cookware and seasonings provided?
Yes. Basic seasonings (soy sauce, cooking oil, salt, pepper) are available. Frying pans, pots, knives, dishware, and glasses are fully equipped.
Q. Can I use the washing machine?
Yes, an outdoor washing machine at the back of the house is free to use for guests on long stays or pilgrimage trips.
